Andy Street Elected as first Mayor of West Midlands

The Conservative Candidate Andy Street has been elected as the first mayor of the West Midlands combined authority.

Mr Street, a former managing director of John Lewis, narrowly beat his Labour opponent Siôn Simon by 238,628 votes to 234,862.

Conservative Councillors Association event on ‘How to be a Councillor’

The Conservative Party Outreach team are running an event in conjunction with the Conservative Councillors Association on ‘How to be a Councillor’. The event will help inform and develop individuals and groups for local elections and beyond. Current Councillors are also welcome to respond.
