Conservative Friends of Pakistan's Director Mohammed Afzal lead a Press Conference for Andy Street CBE yesterday in Birmingham Holiday Inn where he addressed the current issues the Pakistani Community are facing in West Midlands.
Andy Street the former managing director of John Lewis promised if elected as Mayor of West Midlands he will tackle the issues faced by the Pakistani community there. The Mayoral Candidate for the Conservative Party spoke about the issue of obtaining the coroner's certificate for burial on a weekend, introducing English and language classes for Pakistani women so they can focus on the teaching levels of their own children, crime in youth, equal rights for employment and creating job opportunities as well as providing business support.
