The Prime Minister held trilateral talks with President Zardari and President Karzai this morning which paved the way for further work to be carried out in securing a peace settlement. The PM confimred that 'an unprecedented level of co-operation' had been reached in the meeting, with President Zardari stressing that Pakistan would give it's full support in assisting with the peace process in Afghanistan. The meeting also enabled a number of bilateral issues to be considered, and the leaders agreed a closer relationship between their respective security forces, amongst other peace building measures.
